LIKE A HORSE
FROM THE BRANDENBURG GATE

When I visited Berlin (22 July 2017)
my main objective was to see the Brandenburg Gate,
made in the 1790s as a major symbol of peace.

The Brandenburg Gate was inspired by the aspect of
the antique Propylaea Gate (from Acropolis, Athens, Greece),
with a quadriga on its top,
which carries even the Greek-Roman goddess of peace (Eirene or Pax)

Later, the Brandenburg Gate became part of the Berlin Wall during the Cold War
(which divided the city into
the eastern communist zone and the western capitalist zone),
but after 1989 it became the symbol of the German reunification.

Now it is my turn to try a personal vision
about the Brandenburg Gate.

For this I was lucky to receive a superior help.

Dear Brandenburg Gate,
If your horses fly toward the Sun,
Please leave them free
And don’t stop their celestial run.
