\ Rainbow Treatise

In 1848,
a group of Romanian patriots (inspired by a regional idea since 1821)
chose the three main colors of the rainbow
(red, yellow and blue)
for the national flag.

160 years later,
a group of Romanian sky lovers commemorated their act
through this web project.

THE DREAM OF THE DARING

I hide myself,
I look for myself
and go,
reflected in atoms and dreams.

I find you
and, step by step,
I steal from your pale light
a drop from here,
a drop from there,
the seed of eternal harmony.

I feel I am born again
and lose them from my palms.

Above me,
a wave of life
weaves towards the earth,
through waters,
the swinging drops of light
which have escaped from my palms.

Red, yellow, blue…

RAINBOW

Knocking at the gate of my soul,
With the spectrum colored by the rainbow,
The dispersion of light announces fine weather.
(I hope so!).

RAINBOW

“Last night I saw a rainbow”,
says the Teacher, “I swear on God,
it was completely unusual,
it hadn’t colors, just sounds,
and sang in the heavens like an organ.”

Silence in the classroom,
the students are amazed,
“Maybe he has lost his minds!
How is it possible such a lie?”,
but a cloud begins to cry,
concentric (red, yellow, blue) arcs unroll,
and the Sun enters the classroom
announcing that the Teacher
is a correct man who loves the Moon,

but sometimes he dreams too much
at midnight or at noon.

CELESTIAL WORKS

It is possible that my celestial works
are not long.

It is possible that my celestial works
cannot be found,
or disappear too soon.

It is possible that my celestial works
continue as immortal fairy tales.

RAINBOW

I remember one day when I was with my girlfriend
on the bark of a mountain,
after a quick summer rain.
I had the chance to know the ecstasy
as a rainbow with its vault just above us…

I remember another day when I was going in a hurry to my job
besides some artesian wells.
Waiting for the bus stooped by so many people,
my eyes remarked
over the pulverized water
a firm and constant rainbow.
But soon after, the bus arrived -
a pulverized ecstasy…

AFTER THE PERSEIDS

Even if normally a rainbow
is like a colored bow
in the sky,
I give you my word
that one day I saw
out of this law
an almost flat rainbow…

RAINBOW

There was a Flood.
Today the Light flows
from the Gate of Heaven.

RAINBOW

I dreamt I flew on rainbows
towards the stars…
I imagined colored ships,
an indigo sky, virgin waters,
and mountains of living stone.

I’ve learnt to carry its colors in my soul
because today I often fly
among the stars,

and from the earth,
passing from a gate to another,
I rise on rainbows
and carry the key of the heavens.
