From the European Parliament to the
Science Fiction Poetry Association, 2001

In February 2001, following an invitation from the French Prime Minister, a small SARM delegation participated at the Associativity Law Centenary Celebration in the European Parliament (Bruxelles, Belgium). The Romanians (led by Valentin Grigore) offered to the other participants a SARM presentation file, including 6 Romanian stanzas. After that, Andrei Dorian Gheorghe published in Star*Line (the Journal of the Science Fiction Poetry Association, U.S.A.), also in 2001, an article about this event, Astropoetry in the European Parliament, including the same mini-anthology (republished below).

Come with us to admire
The splendours of the starry sky.
Look at the bright stars and discover
He Who Created The Light.

In the House of the Universe
Say: "It's mine!"
But, talking to the stars,
You must shine.

Eclipsed light-
Galactic usage.
Lightened eclipse-
Provoked apocalypse.

In the mysterious Universe,
The Earth is a dwarf.
And then you think:
Oh, my God, am I so little?

Break in clouds-
the Creator's hand
weaves light

Oh, my God, I am pricked by
The top of the right angle
Between the Earth
And the Sky!
